Tibidabo
Tibidabo is an absolute favorite. The view and lush green surroundings are truly stunning, The journey up is an adventure itself, through the forests of Serra de Collserola.
You can easily reach the mountain top by public transport, take the metro to Plaça Catalunya and change to the train (S1/S2). Once at the top, there are buses or you can choose to walk.
At the top, enjoy one of the oldest amusement parks in the world, Parc d’Attractions del Tibidabo, and visit the ‘Iglesia del Sagrat Cor’ for stunning views over Barcelona.
Telefèric & Castell de Montjuïc
The Telefèric Aeri del Port and the Telefèric de Montjuïc cable cars are highly recommended attractions in Barcelona. They offer fantastic views of the city from the gondolas. At the top of the hill, you’ll have a terrific view and you’ll find the historic Castell de Montjuïc.
The surrounding Parc de Montjuïc, is perfect for a scenic walk through beautifully landscaped gardens and the park has many more sights to offer.
MetroTip: If you only want to go to the mountain, take the metro from Paral·lel station (L3) to the Funicular de Montjuïc, here you can transfer to the Telefèric de Montjuïc.
